Dreamworks pictures presents Antz, a story about a misfit ant, Z a worker ant. He longs for a life that strays from his repetitive lifestyle. One night in an ant bar he dances with a female who happens to be the princess. In order to see her again, he switches positions with a friend who is a soldier ant. Little does Z know that he will be sent into a battle where he will start the adventure of his lifetime. Z struggles to get the princess, defeat the Evil General Mandible, and find his own identity.
It should not be viewed as an accurate account of real ant life.
